Jimi Hendrix

November 27, 1942 - September 1, 1970

Jimi Marshall Hendrix was one bad ass dude. A Maverick guitarist, singer and songwriter. Hailing from Seattle, Washington, Hendrix was a musical genius that taught himself how to play the guitar, during a time when there was no internet, talk about dedication! He couldn’t even read music, but communicated his musical visions through colors.

He believed in his self and used this passion and confidence to become one of the most hard rocking iconic musicians of his time.

He even played the guitar upside down because he was left handed. Jimi was a MAVERICK and while his mainstream career only spanned 4 years, his eccentric legacy and innovative music lives on.

MAV FACT: Jimi Hendrix was once kidnapped for 2 days by New York Mobsters. Only to be rescued by his Manager Michael Jeffrey who set the whole thing up! Legend has it Jeffrey wanted to boost his role as a manager and ran the scheme to build his value.

Jimi ever made you feel Psychedelic and bad ass?
